I was looking for a timer that would forcemy windows to go to standby even tho my video tv was running. after the tv recording is finished it only will shut-down the pgrm and then the pc. I wanted it to go back to syandby and not shut-down the pc like it only will presently do.

Automatically loaded when bootup If TimeResolution has an option to allow automatic loading whenever I boot up my machine, and place itself as an icon at the tray, then it would be a plus.

It doesn`t do anything... It does not change the system timer or it's resolution at all. The Author read a snippet of code from MSDN and read and article from Systinternals about the High Resolution timer, and tried to make a utility for it. The only problem is, the solutions offered were NOT global settings for the PC, rather specific functions for using the Timer in Drivers.Why also is it trying to write to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initalize? Great program for simultaneuosly timing a number of processes and making separate notes of each process. Easy export to csv-file readable in Excel.I used it to time lighting events in accordance with a story told on a sound file.Buttons to start all/stop all/reset all timers would make it easier to work with.Johan
